The DHAT 1000 from Hydrogen On Demand Technologies is our most compact hydrogen generation unit designed for semi tractors, crane operators and other diesel powered equipment for engines sized between 5 and 20 litres.

What We Do

When operating, our system generates the correct amount of hydrogen to join the air / fuel mixture as it enters the cylinder for combustion. The addition of hydrogen into the engine’s intake air allows for a more complete fuel burn almost eliminating harmful emissions and improving fuel efficiency between 8% and 12% in our client trials. Our product utilizes power from the OEM alternator to power the DHAT 1000. The DHAT 1000 is completely safe. There is NO onboard storage of hydrogen.

Making a Positive Impact Towards Greenhouse Gas Reduction

It is estimated that diesel powered engines produce an estimated 35% of all greenhouse gases. Of that 35%, the largest contributors are diesel semi tractors given the sheer volume of trucks on the road globally.

Our products not only enable diesel tractor engines to meet and exceed current USA EPA emission requirements paying for itself in reduced fuel usage. Recent 3rd party testing validates HOD technologies on board H2 assist systems are proven to significantly reduce CO2, NOx and Particulate Matter emissions. Recent client trials have proven to reduce consumption of fuel between 7.8% and 11% depending on size and age of engine.

Battery Technology Just Doesn’t Come Close for Replacing Diesel Power

Even with an emphasis in battery powered trucks, the technology simply isn’t ready for deployment in 2024 and it won’t be anytime soon. There is no way to convert all diesel trucks into battery. First, there simply isn't enough raw material supply to make a dent in the overall demand.
